“Triss”

Rochester - Irondequoit November 21, 2018 at age 83. She is survived by her children Kathleen Hartgrove of Irondequoit, Jerry Hartgrove, Jr. of Penfield; sister, Dee (Thomas) Hockenberry; grandchildren that were the love of her life, Rebecca Zawiski, Eric Hartgrove, Timothy John Zawiski, Benjamin (Rosa) Alexander, Eric Metzgar, Brianna Hartgrove; great grandchildren Isabella Rose, Madeline Hartgrove, Mason Dean Alexander; niece Candace (Jerry) Fasano, nephew Eric Steven Hockenberry. Triss was predeceased by her husband Robert Barnes; brother J. David Barnes.

Triss was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and volunteered at Highland Hospital until an illness that caused her to retire. Triss read a lot of books on a broad number of subjects, and was a avid history buff. She conveyed to her grandchildren that she had been all over the world thru her books.

Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 at 11 AM at Lake Ave Baptist Church 72 Ambrose Street, Rochester. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dept of Neurology Movement Center c/o Richard Barbano, MD, 919 Westfall Road, Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14618 .
